Michelle Jackson, Founder, Principal Instructional Designer and Developer, Trainer
Michelle is an experienced learning and performance consultant, intercultural educator, speaker, and trainer. With more than 20 years of experience that combine Instructional Design and Development, International Program Management, Human Resource Management, Performance Development and language training, she has worked in industries that include retail, education, professional law services, medical, pharmaceutical, language acquisition, and travel and tourism.
Michelle holds a Master’s in International and Intercultural Management from The School for International Training (SIT), Vermont, with additional postgraduate coursework in Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida. Her B.A. degree was obtained at The Ohio State University from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Additionally, she holds a TEFL Certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
She is on the Board of Directors for the Dayton Council on World Affairs and is a member of ASTD (American Society of Training and Development), The eLearning Guild, and SIETAR (The Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research).
Michelle has presented at local, regional and national conferences. She has designed and developed courses for on-boarding new employees, soft skills enhancement, new product/software launches, and job skill enhancement. Additionally, she has designed, developed and conducted cross-cultural trainings for numerous destinations including Japan, Spain, Central and South America, India, and the Middle East.
She has traveled extensively in a professional and educational capacity having spent time in Japan, Mexico, Germany, France, England, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and all 50 states. She currently resides in Ohio with her husband and their 2 dogs where she indulges her passion for flowers in the local garden club.
